San Antonio will get a taste of Houston’s famous Turkey Leg Hat this coming weekend.

Known for its exaggerated turkey legs, the popular Houston restaurant will host a pop-up weekend event at the Freeman Coliseum Parking Lot June 11-13.

The restaurant’s Cajun bowls accompany the “Fall of the Bone” classic on the trip to San Antonio. The Turkey Leg Hut usually guarantees big crowds with celebrities like Kevin Hart, 50 Cent, and James Harden showing up.

Customers have the option to fill their turkey legs with anything from Cajun Mac and cheese to shrimp alfredo. There is also a Hennessy Cognac Glaze.

“We are very excited to be coming to San Antonio,” said Nakia Price, co-founder of Turkey Leg Hut, in a press release. “We’ve had a lot of requests to visit this area on social media and we’re excited to finally be able to share a taste of our signature menu with the San Antonio community!”

Nakia Price and co-founder Lynn Price started the company in 2015 on a family-run parking lot near the Houston Rodeo. In 2017, the turkey business expanded to a stationary location in Houston’s Third Ward.
