MT. LEBANON, Pennsylvania (KDKA) – A female driver was rushed to the hospital after her vehicle drove over a hill in Mt. Lebanon.
The crash occurred along Lindendale Drive on Wednesday.
#BREAKING: Fire and EMS tell me that the driver drove over this mountain. Lebanon Hills, falling 80 feet.
They tore down the roof to get her out and she is on her way to the hospital.

The driver fell 80 meters down the hill after going off the road. The car came to a halt in a pile of branches and trees.

First responders tore off the roof of the car to free the driver. A towing company was pulling the car up the slope.

It is not clear to the officers why the woman lost control of her vehicle.

“We’re not sure how it happened at this point,” said South Authority Medical Rescue Team chief Joshua Worth. âThe driver suffered minor to moderate injuries. And she was transported to a local trauma center for examination. “
