A plan to build 264 residential units in Lebanon is one of several residential plans that are being pushed forward in the city’s approval process.
Hawthorne at Lebanon is the name of the proposal for the apartment complex on just over 26 acres on Bartons Creek Road. The country is just south of Interstate 40, southwest of South Hartmann and Old Murfreesboro streets, said Lebanese planning director Paul Corder.
The site is within the South Hartmann Gateway Overlay in Lebanon, but in an area where housing is expected, “not in the walk-through core,” said Corder.
The zoning is in place and the submitted plan does not require approval from the council, said Corder.
According to Corder, the plan includes 108 one-bedroom units, 132 two-bedroom units, and 24 three-bedroom units. There are 11 residential buildings and an additional leisure center. Four buildings offer garages. ‘
Evolve Companies requested the site map.
197 single-family house plots planned
Lebanese planners have approved a preliminary plan to build single-family homes on up to 197 lots near State Route 109 and Highway 70.
The unnamed project sits on nearly 63 acres on West Old LaGuardo Road behind 290 homes under construction on the northwest side of 109 and 70. The land is south of the Spence Creek neighborhood, Corder said.
The project on West Old LaGuardo Road still requires final planning approval, but the zoning is in place and does not require the plan to be presented to the Lebanese city council, Corder said. Road access for part of the property and work around some wetlands on the property will need to be secured before final approval, Corder said.
Lot sizes are mostly around 6,000 square feet, Corder said.
Five oak looks to add
A site plan has been submitted for the construction of 139 additional homes as part of the Five Oaks neighborhood in Lebanon.
A change to the master plan for the development of Five Oaks was previously approved, Corder said.
There are approximately 500 existing single family, duplex, and townhouses in Five Oaks. The Pointe at Five Oaks is a separate apartment complex on Five Oaks Boulevard.
The requested phase concerns the northwest portion of the property, said Corder.
