Iran ready to expand ties with Nicaragua : FM – Political News


In a phone call on Friday, Amirabdollahian and his Nicaraguan counterpart Denis Moncada weighed up plans to improve bilateral relations and cooperation between Tehran and Managua.

Congratulating Daniel Ortega and the Sandanist Front on the victory of Daniel Ortega and the Sandanist Front in Nicaragua’s recent presidential election, Amirabdollahian said Iran is ready for expanding cooperation and ties between the two states.

The foreign minister added that Iran is ready to implement and implement any agreements reached during the Iranian vice president’s trip to Nicaragua, the foreign ministry’s website reported.

Finally, he invited his Nicaraguan counterpart to visit Iran and said political ties between the two countries are fortunately at a good point as they can further strengthen bilateral economic cooperation.

For his part, Nicaraguan Foreign Minister said it was an honor for his country to receive the Iranian Vice President during the inauguration ceremony.

Moncada also conveyed the Nicaraguan President’s warm greetings to the Iranian nation, President and Government.

The Nicaraguan minister said various agreements have been signed in various economic sectors, including medicine, science, technology and industry, and expressed Nicaragua’s willingness to implement and move forward with the agreements.

Moncada also invited his Iranian counterpart to visit Nicaragua.
