JCPOA, Its Importance to Iran and the World – Science

The Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) on the peaceful nuclear activities of the Islamic Republic of Iran was signed by the five permanent (P5) members of the United Nations Security Council – China, France, Russia, the United Kingdom and the United States – and Germany on the on one side and Iran on the other in Vienna, Austria, on June 14, 2015, and was adopted by the UNSC in Resolution 2231 on July 20, 2015.

But when Donald Trump took the saddle of the US Presidency and rode into the Oval Office, he trampled on this international agreement, which not only led to the US’ withdrawal on 8 June 2011. Implementation of the JCPOA into numerous problems.

But despite the vicissitudes of the past few years, the JCPOA, which wields the Islamic Republic of Iran‘s efforts and Entente, is still alive and the world’s efforts to protect it demonstrate the multilateral importance of this international agreement at the political, security and economic levels not only for its signatories, but for the international community.
