To the (Chinese) Moon and Back (Lebanon Valley Food Critics)

Editor’s note: Last year, as Lebanon Valley Food Critics, Michael and Nicole Borrell began reviewing the Lebanon Valley’s restaurants and attractions. Since then, the couple have made it their goal to provide unbiased reviews of the places to eat in the Valley of Lebanon. LebTown is excited to partner with LVFC to share these reviews with our readers. Enjoy your meal!

It’s lunchtime and it’s been a while since I’ve eaten Chinese. So I decided to grab something near my office to satisfy my desires.

Located in Cleona Shopping Mall, China Moon offers a standard Chinese take-out menu. They have an online ordering platform or you can call/stop by.

For today’s meal, I chose the General Tso Chicken Lunch Combo ($8.60) with Spring Roll ($1.75). I have my fried rice and egg drop soup combo.

The chicken pieces were all good whole pieces. The sauce could have used a little more seasoning but I added some mustard and that got it where it needed to be. The spring roll was fried to a nice crispy texture.

Our Opinion: China Moon makes a quality dish. They have the standard specialties that you will find in any Chinese place. The flavors are good and the ordering process is easy. You get a decent portion size for the price.

We give this place 🥓🥓🥓🥓.
